Since launching NextWork Circle in September last year we’ve had a chance to engage with a community of professionals at the forefront of change in the world of work. 

We had conversations, shared our concerns, and recalibrated to adjust to how fast the recruitment process and the markets are changing. 

As we started our first full year after launching in September 2025, the team sat down to discuss strategy and how we can best serve the community and promote change in how we reframe work in our lives. 

This year we will be working with two main themes: “Making Work Work” and “Work Aligned”.

Times are tough, big changes are ahead with the rise of AI, and work environments in continuous evolution leave us all navigating stormy waters and waiting for the next shift. This is why we are building a calendar of workshops and events to further the conversation about the practical side of dealing with these shifts. We’ll have workshops and sessions centred around up-skilling, financial planning and portfolio careers, as we proactively prepare for what’s next. 

On the other hand, we also want to make sure that we don’t lose sight of the important role of work in our lives, how it should align with our values and how we can make work an integral and meaningful part of who we are. 

Our events and panels will allow us to explore our strengths and career anchors, how we can build sustainable change and authentically show up at work.
